Samantha M. McLeod

Impassioned advocacy built on a foundation of hard work and demonstrable personal investment in her clients and their causes defines how Samantha McLeod practices law. Sam understands that the outcomes of the matters she handles can have profound and lasting impacts on the people and entities she represents. Her natural empathy helps her clients weather the storm of contentious litigation, while her talent for crafting impactful and persuasive arguments makes her exceptionally well-suited to appellate work.

While she has experience handling cases involving a wide range of subjects, Sam is particularly adept at insurance coverage, general negligence, and medical malpractice matters. Sam has also distinguished herself with in-depth knowledge of appeal bond issues, a complicated and nuanced area that can prove challenging for even the most accomplished practitioners.

Prior to joining Jacobs and Diemer, Sam litigated complex construction and real estate disputes and counseled clients on transactional matters involving real estate, construction, and other general business issues.

Sam matches her dedication to the firm’s clients with an equally strong commitment to using her skills and talents to serve others. Her pro bono efforts include working with a not-for-profit organization in Washington, D.C., that focuses on mental health advocacy for marginalized individuals and communities.
