Nathan Peplinski

Equally at home in the trial courts as he is navigating the appellate system, Nate Peplinski is an accomplished attorney who leverages his experience and advocacy skills to protect and advance his clients’ interests in a wide range of matters. He is persuasive and personable, detail-oriented while cognizant of the bigger-picture implications of the cases he handles. Particularly adept and well-versed in insurance coverage disputes and always focused on obtaining the optimal outcome, Nate has proven to be an invaluable asset for clients involved in complex and consequential litigation.

While he has amassed an impressive record at the trial court level, Nate has made appellate advocacy a focus of his career since its inception, having started in the Court of Appeals Prehearing Division and serving several terms as the senior clerk to Justice Marilyn Kelly of the Michigan Supreme Court. These experiences have imbued Nate with actionable insights into how justices consider issues and evaluate arguments, allowing him to craft impactful and effective written and oral presentations. He has made several appearances before the Michigan Supreme Court, submitted briefs to the United States Supreme Court, and participated in cases in multiple district courts.

The firm’s insurance clients reap the benefits of Nate’s substantial coverage background, with experience litigating coverage issues and handling defense litigation in his previous position at a large Michigan firm. He also has engaged in policy review and analysis for several large insurance companies and has defended high-exposure construction accident cases involving the common work area doctrine defense.

Nate’s peers have recognized him with various awards and honors for his professional accomplishments, including being named a Michigan State Bar Foundation Fellow and a Michigan SuperLawyer.

An avid music lover who attends numerous concerts each year, Nate also enjoys travel and fine dining experiences around the world.
